Tripura: Narayanasamy leaves for Arunachal Pradesh

Agartala, February 27:All India Congress Committee general secretary cum Tripura observer V. Narayanasamy left for Arunachal Pradesh today after completing a two-day tour. Royal scion cum PCC working president Pradyot Kishore Debbarman also accompanied him to Arunachal Pradesh.

Prior to leaving the state, Narayanasamy held a meeting with the Congress leaders at Congress Bhawan in Agartala.

In the meeting, the AICC general secretary asserted that lobbyism within the party would not be promoted and asked every leader to work united.

“Every party leader would have to work united. Any kind of lobbyism within the party would not be entertained,” Narayanaswami said.

During his two-day tour, Narayanaswami attended a programme to mark 125th birth anniversary of first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan.

He also attended party conventions at Bishramganja and Manu in Ambassa Sub Division. Later, he also inaugurated state level leadership training programme to gear up the campaign for ADC poll at Old Agartala Block.
